3D Shape Butterflies and an Obstacle Course Challenge!

Class 1 have been incredibly busy exploring 3D shapes this week in their maths sessions.
 

They have made beautiful butterflies by printing with 3D shapes to see what 2d shapes are in different 3D shapes, listened to and joined in with some 3D shape songs and today, Class 1 were challenged to name and describe different 3D shapes they found at the end of the obstacle course. 
 

All the children tried really hard to remember the names of the 3D shapes and their special properties. Great 3D shape work this week Class 1 - I wonder what activity we will do with our 3D shapes tomorrow?
